How long have you been riding?

I have been riding since I was six years old. When I was five years old my dad took me to a power sports store in northern Wisconsin to buy my older brother a 50cc dirt bike. Later that day he tried to put me on it – I instantly grabbed a handful of throttle and sent the bike into a full wheelie before ending up on my back! I begged for another try but he made me wait a year before taking it over.

Why did you start riding?

I think it’s a combination of going fast, riding a machine, and getting to explore new places. Having a dirt bike when I was growing up really helped me gain fundamental cycle skills, confidence, and interest in other styles of motorcycles. Also having parents that supported my riding at a younger age was also a huge benefit. To be honest I can not even remember what life is like without riding motorcycles!

HOW’S YOUR EXPERIENCE BEEN WITH ROYAL ENFIELD SO FAR?

My experience with Royal Enfield has been great! Everyone I meet that is part of the brand is a genuine person and awesome to work with. The bikes they manufacture are affordable, versatile, dependable, and look great! I really enjoy the INT650 as it has plenty of speed and power for the highway while also being very agile for city riding. I now live in Milwaukee and own Lake Effect Surf Shop on the shores of Lake Michigan. I get to live my passion every day selling surfboards, skateboards and playing a larger role in the local community. I have an awesome wife and two beautiful children who we hope to provide the same riding opportunities. It has been an amazing experience getting to travel the great lakes searching for surf on my Royal Enfield. I am beyond proud to be an ambassador and would highly recommend these bikes for any rider!
